How fast we fix things
| Level | Example | We fix it within |
|---|---|---|
| S1 | Wrong fast date. Wrong mantra text. A text credited to the wrong source. | 24 hours |
| S2 | A window or time wrong by more than the tolerance. Wrong month name. | 72 hours |
| S3 | A typo in a translation or a transliteration. | The next update |
| S4 | Style. | When we can |
A wrong date does not wait for an app-store update. The apps check this list of date corrections every day.
Calendar corrections
Our dates come from one tested calculation engine. Sometimes a published panchang that our rule follows, or a temple’s own calendar, keeps a festival on another day for a reason the engine does not model yet. Then we add a correction for that festival, place and year, with its source. The engine’s own result and the reason stay visible.

When two dates are both right
Two traditions can keep a festival on different days, and both can be right. That is not an error, and we do not log it here. Each date page shows both dates and names whose rule each one follows. See why dates can differ and how we calculate.
