Our methods

These are the rules this site follows. They are the same on every page.

Every text names its source

Each prayer and verse shows the printed edition its Sanskrit or Awadhi text comes from, and the licence of that edition. Translations name the translator and the year. Our own plain meanings are labelled as ours. See sources and licences.

Every date comes from tested code

Dates and times come only from one calculation engine. An AI model never sets a date or a time. Each date shows its city, its rule and the times that decide it. See how we calculate.

The same rule holds for the tools. Kundli milan is a worked method: it names the printed table behind each of the eight kootas, shows every point it adds up, and says what it does not do. What you type stays in your browser and is not sent anywhere.

How AI is used, and checked

What we do not publish

Mistakes are logged in public

Every page has a “Report a problem” link to our report form. A wrong fast date is fixed within 24 hours. Every fix is logged, with its severity and how fast it was fixed, on the corrections page. A date fix reaches the apps within a day, through a short list of date corrections that the apps check every day.

Words we keep out

A build check keeps other organisations’ names and marks out of our titles, store listings and page descriptions, together with prediction words (“predict”, “horoscope”, “future”) and fear or remedy words. A credit line may still name a publisher, because it only says where a text comes from.

Independence

Pujadeep is independent. It is not affiliated with Gita Press, ISKCON, the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, any temple trust or Drik Panchang.

Pujadeep presents texts and practices of Sanatan Dharma for study and devotion. It does not claim that any practice will produce a result, and it is not a substitute for a guru, priest or doctor.
